AMResorts will introduce the Secrets Resorts & Spas brand to Cancun's popular Hotel Zone with the opening of adults-only Secrets The Vine Cancun on August 1, 2012. The resort becomes AMResorts' twenty first property in Mexico and tenth for the Secrets brand. This is the brand's first resort in Cancun's Hotel Zone.
The newly built Secrets The Vine is located on the golden Yucatan Peninsula coastline. The property features 495 luxurious guest rooms, all with ocean views, private balconies, Italian porcelain floors, and teak wood furnishings.
The Secrets The Vine's lobby celebrates fine wine in both its design and menu offerings with a designated wine tasting area for guests, the Enoteca (wine cellar). The Enoteca features a Mexican handcrafted wood table with seating for up to 30 guests and a unique wine wall housing as many as 3000 varieties of wine. With sommelier-lead tastings of some of the world's finest wine collections, the Enoteca promises guests a rich and relaxing wine tasting experience.
AMResorts is now offering special incentives to travelers in celebration of the August 1 grand opening of Secrets The Vine Cancun. Between now and August 31, 2012, travel agents have a chance to solve the Secret Decoder Game at AMRAgents.com. All participants will be automatically entered to win a seven-night stay in a luxury suite for two plus air and a private dinner at the Secrets The Vine Cancun wine cellar – a signature feature of the resort. One weekly winner will be selected for a period of eight weeks. Available mid-July, consumers also will have a chance to solve the Secret Decoder Game by visiting the Secrets The Vine Cancun Facebook page to play. Participants will be automatically entered to win a seven-night stay in a luxury suite for two, with one weekly winner selected for a period of six weeks.
Agents also will be rewarded with a $50 cash bonus for every three- to six-night booking or a $100 cash bonus for every seven nights or more made at Secrets The Vine. To qualify, agents must register their bookings at AMRAgents.com between now and August 31, 2012 for travel between August 1 and December 23, 2012. A special AMResorts Master Agent rate of $79 per person, per night is also available at Secrets The Vine Cancun for travel between August 1 and October 26, 2012 and booked between July 16 and August 10, 2012.
To celebrate the approaching opening, Secrets The Vine Cancun is also offering a limited time special introductory rate for guests:
