Palace Resorts Announces
Colin Cowie Wedding Collection
by Mark Rogers

Palace Resorts has announced a travel industry partnership with the launch of the exclusive Colin Cowie Wedding Collection. Available at all Palace Resorts Mexico properties and the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels in Punta Cana, Vallarta, Cancun and Riviera Maya, Colin Cowie is bringing his style and innovation to destination wedding design. Previously available only to society and celebrity clients, this partnership signals the first time all couples will have the chance to wed or renew their vows in a celebration designed by Colin Cowie, one of the world’s foremost authorities in wedding planning.

“Palace Resorts is the best in the business and always goes above and beyond for their customers, just like I do,” said Colin Cowie. “I was totally blown away by their properties, and there was an immediate affinity between our two brands. We have designed eighteen over the top, fabulous customized packages to give the bride and groom a high dose of Colin Cowie style. Every aspect of the design is thought out to make the planning process effortless for the couple.  The programs speak to a broad range of design sensibilities so that there is something for everyone, allowing brides to express themselves and their style without having to get bogged down in the planning details.”

Each Colin Cowie Wedding Collection package includes everything needed to create the perfect love affair so couples can rest assured that all amenities are included and the final cost (starting at $1,500) is set upfront. Hotel wedding specialists make all bridal dreams come true when coordinating every detail of a couple’s special day, by overseeing all that the packages include such as wedding ceremony location, ceremony structure and set-up, chairs and chair covers, floral decorations, aisle runner, the bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, wedding cake, champagne, dinner reservations at a hotel restaurant for up to 30 guests, a honeymoon package, a wedding planner and witnesses if needed. Additionally, couples can add a reception to their package for a low cost per table, which includes food and beverage, tables to accommodate eight guests, centerpiece decorations, plates, runners, silverware, tumblers and wine glasses.

The nine Colin Cowie Wedding Collection packages at Palace Resorts feature chic designs inspired by the beauty of Mexico, including options such as Exotic Peacock, Romantic Red, Sultry Sunset and Pure White. Inspired by the most beautiful sunset imaginable, Sultry Sunset is where the beauty of the sunset comes to life. Inspired by the passionate colors of a sunset, chair backs are decorated in deep oranges and pinks while a coppery aisle leads to a gorgeous gazebo where orange, yellow, green and pink flowers complete the stunning look. For more understated elegance, the Pure White package is a subtle and completely captivating design featuring gentle tones of pale white for a classic affair. Sheer, pearl and ruffled fabrics grace the chairs, while the pure white aisle leads to a framed gazebo accented by lush flowers. Additionally, guests can choose the Compliments of Palace Resorts package. Simple, yet fabulously elegant, this complimentary wedding package juxtaposes deep brown and white against the beach sands for a beautifully refined presentation all at no cost.

At the all-inclusive Hard Rock properties in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and Vallarta, Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico, the nine Colin Cowie Wedding Collection packages are designed to be seen, heard and remembered for ages, much like the music that has inspired the brand for 40 years. Packages include exciting options such as Metallic Dunes, Rocker Chic, White Rosette and Seaglass. For beachside bridal bliss guests can choose Sea Glass. Inspired by the beautiful blue and green hues found in natural sea glass, this design is the perfect setting for a beach wedding.  Unique seating in bold stripes and patterns, paired with an undulating aisle and crisp white gazebo complete the casual elegance. For a scene straight out of a rock n’ roll fantasy, Rocker Chic features patterns and solids in black and white accented by just the right amount of dazzling pops of color. The streamlined gazebo features an altar of black and white topped by a stunning floral arrangement in your choice of colors.
